Hi, I’m Tony Perrin. This website is a showcase for things that have brought me much happiness but precisely zero dollars, which is something I think everybody ought to have. Here, you can find several translations of Japanese short stories I published from 2013 to 2016; links to short video documentaries about Japan I made from 2020 to 2022; and some of my photography, which has been a hobby of mine for close to 20 years now. I have vaingloriously titled it Untranslated Japan, and maybe one day something will come of that. Until then, I hope you join the dozens of people who have found something interesting in my work.
